I paid $30 for a one-day pass to use the outdoor pool (the public pools only open in mid June). The pool is small and freezing. The staff came out multiple times to scream at kids and guests for sitting in the "VIP" area that is basically the same seats you pay $30 for but behind a chain. The "cabanas" are empty, worn canopies. We watched staff come outside screaming at 4 little girls that where there were sitting costs $50. Then it happened again with people who clearly didn't know the section they were in had an additional cost (because why would it?). I don't understand why they can't: 1) Label it 2) Walk over to the people and explain the situation vs screaming at them 3) Create a space that would actually be worth paying that amount to sit in... The pool doesn't look clean. There are kids everywhere splashing and jumping which is expected but since the pool is so small, sitting by the edge isn't a great option. Did I mention it was FREEZING? If you go to the gym, then I can see why you might be okay using a shitty outdoor pool because it's already included. We used the locker room and the saunas...the steam sauna had a strange smell and the steam came out at scalding temper

Itβs a dingy gym with unfit staff. I will be canceling my membership and joining another gym nearby. Yes, thereβs a few floors with plenty of equipment but everything is worn and unclean. Itβs definitely a budget choice thatβs only a step above PF. You also have to pay extra to use the pool. I went for an intro with Cami and she was awkward in many ways. I was appalled by the personal training price considering she seemed incompetent. Testing my level of fitness with basic moves while not offering any feedback does not make me confident in her abilities. Everything about that interaction was lacking. I have attended some classes here and absolutely cannot stand Katherine as an instructor. I love barre and yoga but how does a place of fitness hire someone who physically is not fit? The yoga class was the worst Iβve ever taken. It was not relaxing. Katherine was telling us to do moves without demo but constantly telling us weβre doing it wrong. She would not stop talking the entire time, telling some lame story and cackling the whole class about literally anything that came out her own mouth. I couldnβt wait for the class to be over. However, I tried a class with Vivian and do like h

Today was the final day of class with our longtime Barre and Pilates instructor, Kati Brennan, who is relocating to the Netherlands to further her education. To say that my wife and I will miss Kati would be an understatement. Kati creates a motivated environment in her classes. Whether it's your first class or you're a long time student, whether you are in your 20s or 80s, Kati treats everyone equally. You are in Kati's safe and guiding hands. Her knowledge of these disciplines and their effect on the body is second to none! For one hour straight Kati encourages you to do things you never thought that you were able to do! She is with each participant every step of the way: pushing, correcting form and educating. You'll give 100% because Kati does! This is all done with Kati's unique and hilarious sense of humor. You cannot help but be joyful. Before you know it, class is over. You cannot wait for the next session! Never has the expression 'our loss is your gain' been more appropriate. Wherever Kati teaches Barre and/or Pilates, her students are the benefactors! Kati is one of the coolest human beings ever. Ira Rubenfeld

Everything was clean and inviting. I left just as the lights were turned off, and 2 staff members walked me out and waited with me 15 minutes for my Lyft to show up! Above and beyond anything that one could expect! Great experience as usual! Thanks to all who make it happen!

In my opinion Best Gym in the City. The Staff are very nice. Like really really nice. The place is clean. And the caliber of clients makes it a very welcoming space without any Meat-Head vibes. Really love my routine here. Bonus: Having access to a pool in the summer and sauna in the winter. Shoutout to Randolph for running such a tight ship. Cant say enough when a Manager is available and a gets things done.

I donβt understand why NYSC considers themselves a premium gym. Iβve seen YMCAs better than this. Equipment is old, layout is odd. Do better sports club

These pictures were taken on a Friday afternoon at the pool area, which was full of kids screaming, yelling, and jumping. It was super crowded and hard to find a space, making it feel more like a kids' club than a pool club. I can't imagine what it's like on the weekend. If you can't handle kids screaming all day, I would not recommend getting a pool membership here. Personally, I don't have an issue with it and managed to find a little peace and space in the water. The gym also has issues with air circulation and is always overcrowded. You may have to wait in a long line to use the cable machines if you're lucky. The group classes are held in a tiny area where you have to be careful not to hit people around you. On a positive note, the staff is excellent, particularly the receptionist with beautiful curly hair who is always smiling and creating a good vibe. Everyone is very helpful. Overall, it is an average neighborhood gym that costs $50 per month. However, the lack of AC and overcrowding may be deterrents for some.
